This holiday season, the Midwest 49ers U15A team organized a community food drive to support local families in need. Joining forces with the U13A and U18A teams, as well as their opponents, the players demonstrated incredible teamwork both on and off the ice.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, a significant amount of non-perishable food items were collected. These donations will be divided among the food banks of our three feeder associations, ensuring that families across our community receive the support they need during the holidays.
We are proud of our players for showing leadership and compassion beyond the rink. Initiatives like this remind us that hockey is more than a game—it’s about building strong communities.
